The Letter

A letter has been found in the National Archives that could have changed the outcome in WW2 to something much more disastrous. Thankfully, people close to the President, who had just suffered a mental illness stemming from accidentally ingesting enriched uranium, were able to prevent the ultimatum from reaching the desk of Emperor Hirohito.

Thank God we at one time had real statesmen serving as President of the United States of America.

Like, Harry Truman who, along with 45 other Presidents, would never have written the following to any foreign leader:

What could have happened if the man who wrote that was POTUS in 1945?
