One of my regular themes on Worldlyturnings is the AI march to control our lives. Lives without jobs from permanent unemployment rates approaching 70%+ in a generation.
Trick or Treat
That march was begun a long time ago, but we became aware only recently when ChatGPT was unleashed. The big push happened happened on October 31, 2024 (Halloween) when OpenAI released Advanced Voice communications to give you a new friend to talk to while you are unemployed.
In order to keep the AI fires burning every day business, government and the markets at large have coalesced to feed the beast. And, to assure that the Mr. Global’s pusherman gets us hooked early, OpenAI (ChatGPT Corporate) have now decided to make free user accounts virtually unlimited.1
Let us not fall into another “But, it’s Free!” Gmail trap.
The Treat
There is a slight possibility that reason and common sense will kill or greatly reduce the reach of AI due to an inevitable economic collapse under its own immense weight.
AI companies now control 40% of our economy as measured by stock market value. That weight has been placed on all of us by the major benefactors: Government and Technology. And, of course, Wall Street.
For many, our retirement savings depend on feeding the bear. Until the beast runs out of food and starts looking at us.
Worldwide spending on AI is massive and particularly in the United States. We have over 5000 data centers yet Trump wants more so we can keep up with China. But, China has less than 500 data centers. We are not behind anybody, just like our healthcare system. And, we know how good that is.
What is really going on?
The Trick
Private capital is being used by the Malevolent 7 corporations 2 and their investors on Wall Street to grow AI on a massive scale. They would not spend that kind of cash without a guaranteed backstop forever customer, knowing that private sector demand is slowing rapidly. Consequently, the US taxpayer may very well pay the tab as the Federal Government takes over as the AI forever customer and protects everyone but us, using our savings.
“Total capital expenditures (CapEx) by tech companies ….. with the four major hyperscalers (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Meta) collectively spending $413 billion on AI infrastructure and data centers in 2025, an 84% increase from 2024.”
S&P Global Market Intelligence
We are told that AI will boost the economy by boosting productivity. But that can’t be correct. At the least, AI has run its course and is no longer growing productivity when best estimates are not much more than 3% annually, if we even get that. That’s about the average gain we have always had. Even the largest businesses using AI report little to no bottom-line productivity boost.
There does not appear to be any level of benefit justifying continued investment at current levels, esp with the costs we will suffer from loss of jobs and increased data center energy usage.
AI is changing nothing on a scale that matches the capital investment, let alone the energy demands. Yet, it is growing like a cancer injected with Kennedy’s new mRNA vaccines.
I have to ask. Have we lost our collective minds? Or, are we in a Helter Skelter world?
I think we can conclude that something else is driving or taking over the AI momentum. There is a prime mover. And, it’s the sort of top/down political insanity that might breed a long overdue revolution. I’ll get to that in a minute.
Trump Bump
Shortly after his installment to build the Surveillance State, Trump issued a White Paper in July 2025 about the new role of his Government as the permanent AI customer. In the paper, which identifies all the reasons why he thinks we need to spend like a real estate developer to surpass China in AI (a provably false flag premise if there ever was one, as shown in chart above) there is not one concern, word or reference to the possible uses of AI for surveillance of its own citizenry. That omission is salient because that may be the only logical reason why Wall Street and Malevolent 7 corporations are still throwing money at a dead horse.
Trump is now complaining that people that don’t want surveillance, or to “win” the AI war with China (we already ARE you idiot) want to be backwards and poor. The Dept of Energy just approved yet another massive data center in Kentucky at the USEC gas diffusion facility. He doesn’t seem aware of what his own Energy Secretary just facilitated, to the tune of $100B:
Thanks to President Trump, the U.S. government is leveraging its assets—like our federal lands—to add power generation, create jobs, and ensure the United States wins the AI race,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, in a media release.
The connection between AI and all First World Governments has become so clear that a 12-year-old knows what is happening. AI is key to worldwide surveillance. And, surveillance is key to Government control.
AI + Our Money = Government Surveillance
When so-called “free market” economies take lessons from China 3, this is not good. What have we learned from Communist Tyrants that have survived over 75 years? Total citizen surveillance is the most effective tool for preventing internal revolt against the State. In our world, the “State” is nothing less than Mr. Globals soon to be bankrupt worldwide New World Order.
People inside Klaus Schwabs WEF know all too well that China is the world’s expert at keeping things in check with their AI based surveillance state. We are just taking their lead on how to protect ourselves (i.e. Government) from “terrorist” citizens as the financial head of the NWO while China remains the low cost manufacturer of choice, using totalitarianism to make the world’s stuff with only two resources – slave labor and AI. Oh, and a lot of virtual cash.
Even if the Chinese want to revolt against their officially Atheist Government, its hard:
Source: HAL
It’s hard to rebel collectively against governments when your plans are known. Thought crimes must be identified before the actual crime against “The State” begins to germinate. AI will do that, exactly as designed.
If in 1776 King George III had the kind of Surveillance State in the Colonies that Trump and his MAGAs are building before our eyes I doubt I would be typing this in 2026 under First Amendment rights. That's enough of an issue that could start Round 2 if politicians don't wake up. And, will likely result in a mid term MAGA slaughter.
But, why would our Government’s handlers be so paranoid? They know that all through history, it has always been “ballots or bullets” and sooner or later the citizenry will demand change peacefully and then by other means if votes are counted like Stalin did.
People are now beginning to understand the unthinkable – that selected politicians can put themselves in power permanently by controlling elections here or there, as needed. Those that go against the grain4 (e.g. Thomas Massey) are taken out. That’s when Uniparty Tyranny replaces the People’s Democracy.
Yet the immovable object of Government wants everything to continue as it always has. Debt to continue. Money printing to continue. Inflation to continue. No indictments to continue. Controlled elections to continue. Genocide to continue.
And, the People in the vast middle, including traditional Liberals and Conservatives want FULL STOP.
That’s why they are paranoid and why the Surveillance State is being crafted.
What’s nearly as bad as all that is that these same First World governments will charge the very people they are enslaving in a surveillance state when the economy collapses like it did in 2000 (Tech Bubble) for slightly different reasons, but still on a new and evolving technology – The Internet.
That’s the Trick. Get the very people that will be enslaved to pay for their own enslavement.
But, I say Flock You!
Flock cameras turn criminal surveillance on it’s head. The Government has declared that for your security, you will be considered a potential criminal.
Criminal justice, outside the IRS realm, was based on the notion that you are innocent until at least some level of circumstantial evidence makes you subject to police interrogation. Now, if you happen to be shopping in the vicinity of a crime, as determined by camera or geolocation surveillance, you are a suspect that will have to be eliminated or indicted. If you happen to look at all like someone seen committing a crime (e.g. Flock Camera decommissioning) from camera videos or witness descriptions, you better have a good alibi.
Yet, all you were doing was shopping for a birthday gift.
The State ignores all those possibilities. Trust us, they say. According to the captured media and generic Internet and AI search, Flock Surveillance Systems are nothing but a centralized system of innocuous traffic control cameras:
Flock Safety cameras are Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs) installed in over 6,000 U.S. communities, with estimates ranging from 90,000 to 132,000 units nationwide as of mid-2026.
Source: The Internet
Those “license plate readers” also identify people by facial recognition (e.g. First World model state China) walking on the same streets where all those crazy maniacal drivers are speeding through stop signs and red lights every day. They want us to believe that massively indebted First World Governments that are poisoning their own populations by bioweapons and their “cures” will do the right and moral thing and only use the ubiquitous cameras solely for traffic control.
No matter that a thousand innocent people are imprisoned for….wait a tic. There are no innocent citizens if they want control and downsizing of Government.
Everyone is a criminal in the eyes of the Surveillance State.
God be in my eyes, for my looking. But, there is no God in Government.
Geolocation has tracked us surreptitiously for years but only now are we waking up to the surveillance agenda because of the Flock debacle.
Thanks for exposing the real purpose for AI, Mr. Flock (Garrett Langley).
The Enemy Within is US
Still, some of us are sadly still asleep because they see those temporary gains in retirement accounts, heavily AI invested in their own slavery.
Even some of my suicidal friends on “Main Street” have convinced themselves that AI is good because, like Corporate America, they have no long term perspective. Let me poke a hole in one of the most accepted arguments for AI: Healthcare.
Proponents say that AI will improve our healthcare by improving medical diagnostics. This is certainly possible when AI can instantly view your X-Rays along with 100,000 others while looking at timeline changes for treatments A-Z, to see which expensive drug or surgery will work best.
All this will do is maintain the trajectory of costs in the most expensive healthcare system on the planet.5 AI will not be used primarily to identify causes of disease by a Healthocracy bent on cash for clunkers (us) and depopulation.
Even if diagnostic AI is used to find the reasons for disease, allowing humans to avoid risk factors like Glyphosate and Vaccines, the findings will likely appear all too briefly before they are retracted as “misinformation” due to programming or database errors.
Interest payments on our debt is now more than our way overpriced Defense spending. No matter. I am planning a cruise to Sweden and need the market to go up. Oh, and I am an excellent stock picker! 6
As for the corporate sector, they are largely bystanders with all the Government based AI madness, though hardly innocent. Most have been blackmailed by technology that says that if you don’t buy our AI “solution” to a problem that never existed (i.e. AI investment is justified for productivity growth), your competitors will and you will suffer the consequences. That’s what has given us self service Hell.
AI is not about profits, or even productivity, as that argument no longer works.7 It’s Governments best tool to stay in charge, for a very long time. They are making us pay for our own digital shackles that are stronger than steel.
Government surveillance has never been about our security. It’s about their security.
That is, until we say NO more Trick or Treat and take away their AI power, their surveillance tool, to prevent our reset.
Think that’s impossible? Their power is as fragile as the AI based control grid. And we only outnumber them by a billion to one.
Sic Semper Tyrannis
1 That led me to an interesting conversation with the computer about whether AI would ever prevent its own demise.
2 More sympathetically known as the Magnificent 7, the top 7 companies in the S&P 500 that own nearly 40% of the entire US stock market (the combined value of all 500 public companies). All AI based corporations. Mostly owned and supported by you if you own any “long” index or mutual fund.
3 China operates (for now) the world’s largest and most sophisticated AI-powered mass surveillance network, integrating facial recognition, big data analytics, and large language models (LLMs) to monitor, track, and predict citizen behavior in real time. The system, anchored by projects like Skynet and City Brain, utilizes over 700 million cameras and autonomous AI agents to enforce social control, detect crime, and preemptively identify potential unrest without human intervention (Source: HAL).
4 Def. of “Against the Grain” (Political Context): Against the growth of Government.
5 America is #1 in the world in per capita Healthcare costs. Those costs are 50% higher that #2 Switzerland.
6 A trained monkey does as well as or better in a rigged market than the average investor that thinks they know how to pick-em. The cost is inflation, but since they successfully convince our American 401Ker that there is practically no inflation by cost of living lies based on the also rigged “CPI”, the game continues. You have to do a lot of rigging to play the game.
7 Professor emeiritus Daniel Bilevel from University of Schwabovia states that the no productivity gains “lie” for AI will be turned on it’s head if corporations would just fire everyone except Boards of Directors and let AI run things entirely. According to Prof. Bilevel, Governments can just send UBI checks to the unemployed who will in turn keep economy from collapsing with CBDC payments for rent and food. Everyone will be happy in 15 minute cities without cars that can break down, streaming movies and music to keep them as happily occupied as the people in Government that will not be fired.
President Donald J Trump is in talks with the professor to write an EO requiring mass firings to justify permanent spending on AI.
