Against my better judgement I decided to create a Google Account so I could post a video on Youtube about a Burro that found me in the middle of nowhere on Old Route 66. I thought it was pretty good and would get a few views.

Well, after only a few days it got just 55 views. Not bad, but not as much as it should have gotten. It was barely searchable because the AI algorithms that run Youtube don’t like newbies even though if they promoted the video it would make them money. I was considering deletion of my account.

But, someone beat me to it that didn’t like friendly burros and “reported” the video to the powers that be that control life, the universe and everything. Google not only deleted the video but also my account. Happy Days!

I have no idea what could have resulted in killing my new account, but I would like to think it was my occasional anti- Google articles on my Substack that got under their skin. Or, more likely, I had posted a link to my Substack site which might have not been allowed per Section 3 Page 287 in the “agreement” we must agree to that nobody can possibly read. Except by those that are on vacation, are Government employees or have nothing better to do.

So, there it is. My account was deleted within 3 days of posting. Good work!

And now, here is Gus, that awful equine creature that violated Youtube policy. But is now quite happy in his new home on a much better and competing video platform I should have used in the first place.
