And the Gmail Surveillance System
Introduction. If the AI leader of the visible Universe (Google) has its way, not only will they own a personal dossier on nearly 1/3 of the world’s population within a year, but all of us could be in their Zipcode as they buyout their enemies with Government approval. This article will hopefully begin a long overdue pushback against the Technocracy that is completely doable but only when (1) they are exposed by the Light and (2) people finally get mad enough to do something.
If we have any chance at all against living in an AI driven absolute totalitarian Technocracy, it starts with calling out Google and their worldwide surveillance tool, Gmail.
If you were smart enough to avoid Gmail for your email service, congratulations. However, you do know people that use Gmail. This article is for them, so please pass on.
After Google was caught “read” handed way back in 2014 when they ‘analyzed’ everything in your private emails on their Gmail service do you think they quit the practice? Not on your life. They simply made what they did more clear in their user agreements because they don’t want a hole in their legal defense. And they know that people just don’t care. Or don’t know. Now you will know.
When they were exposed violating rights to privacy enshrined in the Constitution by Amendment 4, they simply updated their “Privacy” statement telling you exactly what they are doing. That’s the ticket! Do the unethical with an informed consent defense that effectively (for now) waives constitutional rights.
In America, this defense seems to work quite well when Google was developed as a surveillance tool of our Government via the CIA and DARPA. Therefore, Congress as usual does this:
Until they are stopped by a captured Congress, or Lawyers, where does this leave us?
Simply, every Gmail account holder 1has effectively given up their rights to privacy that normal Americans thought was important enough to turn into the 4th Amendment to the US Constitution:
“The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government, requiring warrants to be issued based on probable cause. This amendment ensures that people have a right to privacy in their persons, homes, and belongings.’
Here is the key section of the Google Privacy Policy that Gmail account holders agree to that creates their voluntary and informed consent defense for blatant privacy violations. Violations that no Democratic (or Republican) Government should condone - except under Martial Law:
“Our automated systems analyses your content (including emails) to provide you personally relevant product features, such as customized search results, tailored advertising and spam and malware detection,” reads Google’s updated terms. “This analysis occurs as the content is sent, received, and when it is stored.”
“We also collect the content you create, upload, or receive from others when using our services. This includes things like *email you write and receive*, photos and videos you save, docs and spreadsheets you create, and comments you make on YouTube videos.”
Analyze your content? Look at your photos? Collect your content? Don’t worry your little head over that! They have legitimate reasons to know who your friends and relatives are, what you like to talk about, what you do for fun and excitement, what your kids look like, what investments you have, who you vote for and why.
They sell information to 3rd parties or maybe even give it to governments like Bank of America (BOA) did with clients who exercised their 1A rights to petition their Government against obvious election fakery on January 6, 2021. Alas, so called “Conservatives” that say they hate Tyranny still have BOA accounts because they have lots of convenient ATMs. Some wonder why we seem to be losing the battle? There ya go.
Don’t be Good
Google had very good reasons to remove their “Don’t be Evil” slogan that was attached to their business and search logo until 2015. It’s because their abuse is on the highest order and even they couldn’t handle their own hypocrisy.
In a massive ironic twist Paul Buchheit, the originator of Gmail in 2004, explained the slogan Don’t be Evil “was a bit of a jab at a lot of the other companies, especially our competitors, who at the time, in our opinion, were kind of exploiting the users.”
What people got for giving up every last bit of privacy was a “free email account”? Nothing is free. Ever.
Like all of the Technocrats, they prayed on peoples love of free stuff. This is exactly what a drug dealer does when finding new recruits who suddenly find that the initial free high isn’t so cheap anymore. Or enjoyable. But they got you, you are hooked.
Options
There are many other email options that don’t abuse your inherent right to privacy, embedded in our Constitution. Posteo and Proton are just two of many email options that don’t use you like a pimp. In general, avoid any email services based in the United States like Yahoo and AOL 2 since they won’t likely change their scanning policies until our laws change to force them.
Compare and contrast what Google now fully admits to in their “privacy policy” above to Posteo’s privacy policy which is based on compliance to EU requirements:
“Content data as a term is not legally defined. We refer to it in this context as the saved contents in an email account. The contents of a communication and its accompanying circumstances (emails and their metadata) are subject to telecommunications secrecy and are protected by fundamental rights. That means that no one is allowed to read your emails and we’re not allowed to pass them on to third parties. This would be a violation of your fundamental rights and punishable by law.”
Your privacy was so important it was enshrined in the United States Constitution to prevent abuse of power by governments. But it is a relic now in America, unlike the “progressive” European Union that for all their nonsense seems to think more highly of your inherent rights to privacy than our politicians.
The GPDR laws3 in Europe are the framework for an unhidden “opt in” approach to data collection, analyses and privacy that is sorely missing in the United States.
So, yes, we have alternatives that protect the most important thing you have beyond your life and loved ones - your individual privacy. And we can thank the EU for bringing us important email alternatives - at no more than the price of a couple Lattes at your Coffee Shop.

Gmail has 2.5 Billion Account holders worldwide. Approximately 66 Billion emails cross their servers monthly. How many know what they are doing?
As of this writing, Yahoo and AOL have similar scanning processes, but check their privacy policies and see if you may opt out, which is not possible with Gmail.
Because of legislative efforts, Europe is now home to the most successful privacy oriented email services in the world.
